Checking in

I don’t write a lot when I’m tired. And when I do write, I tend more towards the “I’m tired, woe is me.” kind of writing, and I hate that about myself. So that’s why y’all haven’t heard much from me in the last few days. I went to the doctor today and got some blood work done. I’ll get the results in a few days. If there’s anything new or exciting, I’ll be sure to tell y’all about it. I’m sure you’re breathless with anticipation. ^_^ Other than that and me being exhausted to the point of uselessness — not much is going on. I’m just checking in so you know I’m still alive and kicking. So far, Doug and I have avoided contracting COVID-19 and I hope it stays that way. I hope all y’all are doing well, and maybe I’ll scrape up enough energy to post a real blog post soon.

For real.

Oh, I’m trying to learn to code again. I think I tried to jump ahead and learn too much to quickly last time, so this time I’m taking it slow. I’ve got a goal in mind and when it’s finished I hope I can show it to y’all. I *think* I can do what I want on a paid WordPress site. I’m pretty sure I can. If not, I can probably use Doug’s site. He’s got extra space over there. We’ll see. Right now I’m still at basic HTML, but I wanna see if I can at least get the basics of CSS and JavaScript. Just basic stuff. I’m not trying to start a career over here. Because I have days like today when I’m just too tired to think and I totally forgot everything I learned yesterday (building a form) and am having trouble finding words and stringing them together to form coherent sentences. But I do have a goal… a project in mind. So yeah, wanna learn enough to do that. It’ll be interesting. I hope.

It’s a cool idea. I think so anyway. 🙂 Photo by Pixabay from Pexels

Anyway, that’s pretty much it. A whole lot of nuthin’ and too much of everything else.
