A touchy subject

Okay, I want to talk about something because it’s gonna get worse before it gets better. I have a Facespace and a Twittering account, and anyone who looks at either of those right now would see a lot of political stuff right now. Normally, I’m not a political person, but I think that this coming election in the USA is an important one. And if someone were to look at my social media right now they might think that I’m a Democrat, or at the very least, anti-Republican. I’m neither. I’m very much middle-of-the road. Always have been, always will be.

What I am right now is anti-Trump. I believe with all of my heart that he is one of the worst things that has happened to our country and that he needs to be voted out this coming election. If one looks closely at my social media, they would see that many of the things I post are from Republican groups… Republicans against Trump. The Lincoln Project is one such group, another is actually named RVAT — Republican Voters against Trump. These are groups who believe that many of the people in office who hold the title of Republican have lost their way. But I also post from groups and people who are Democrats, like the Medias Touch and PACRONYM, though I guess they’re just anti-Trump like me. So yeah, I’m for anyone who is against Trump and vehemently against anyone who is for him.

I know that some of my friends and family will vote for Trump because he is the Republican nominee, and that saddens me greatly. I know that some of my friends and family will vote for him because they actually believe his lies, and that saddens me even more. But I, for one, think he is the biggest con man to ever walk the Earth. I wish he’d never thought to become president and wish the Republican party had never nominated him in 2016. But I don’t dislike my friends and family for voting their hearts. That is their right and privilege. I just want to set the record straight. I’m not anti-Republican, nor am I pro-Democrat. I don’t lean right or left politically. I am, and always will be, very middle of the road. But I am against our glorious leader and anyone who keeps him in office. Because I believe in my heart that he is tearing this country I love apart. I’m sorry, that’s just the way it is. And that’s all I’ll say about it.
