Questions and Answers

Sharing my world Mid November

I didn’t do last week’s Share your world, mostly because I was too tired and honestly couldn’t think of answers to the questions. But I’m feeling a midge better this week so I’ll take a crack at it. The words on the screen look a little weird, which means that my brain is still tired, but I’ll still give it a shot. If y’all want to give it a shot or see other people’s answers to the questions, head over to Melanie’s blog and take a gander. Here are this week’s questions:

Is cereal soup? Why or why not? I never gave it much thought. The definition of soup is thus (google definition): a liquid dish, typically made by boiling meat, fish, or vegetables, etc., in stock or water. So soup is generally cooked and cereal is not. Therefore, cereal, by definition is not soup. Unless you consider oatmeal (porridge) cereal, then you can make the argument that soupy oatmeal is soup.

What are some interesting ways to answer everyday questions like “how’s it going” or “what do you do”? Dear reader, I am way too tired to be interesting. My go-to way of answering, “How’d it going?” is to say either, “It’s going.” or “Been better, been worse.” Not interesting at all. When someone asks me what I do, I generally tell them that I’m disable and that I simply… am. Whenever I worked, I was a temp, so I honestly just answered the question. Like, “I’m a temp… I don’t play well with others so it’s best that I don’t stay in any one place for very long.”

What was your favorite toy growing up? Didn’t have one. Books I guess.

If you have a pet, and you could ask it three questions, what would you ask? I have four pets. Three dogs and a cat. I probably would ask them all the same questions, What makes you so nervous? because they are all such Nervous Nellies even though they’ve all come a very long way since we’ve adopted them. What can I do to help? because I honestly want to make their lives as comfortable as possible, even though they are all in their senior years. And finally Are you happy here? because I honestly want to know.

And that’s all I really have energy for today. We took Cocoa in for his wellness check today. The vet says he’s doing fine. I just spent the last five minutes trying to figure out how to change the collage setting up there to make the pictures look better, but I can’t figure it out. I guess if my brain wasn’t mush it wouldn’t allude me. Maybe next time. I mean, I know how to change it into a different setting, but I wanted Cocoa’s picture to be bigger and Poptart’s a little smaller. I think it looks weird the way it is right now. But whatever. I’ll keep it in the default settings. And I’m adding a picture here of all of them so Facespace will have a picture for when I post it there. It was taken a long time ago on an older phone, and it was dark… but it’s difficult to get them all together at the same time.

All of the pets together. Sorry it’s so fuzzy

  1. Thanks Willow for Sharing Your World and your gorgeous fur-kids! The photos are just fine. Brain fog is difficult to navigate some days, and you did a great job in case you were worried. I just love that old ditty “Pease porridge” …I heard a story behind that which I won’t share, because it’s fairly disgusting. It does settle the cereal question rather well though. Have a wonderful week coming up!
