About me — again

A few things people need to know about me and this is the page I will refer them to whenever needed. Because sometimes a person just gets tired of saying the same thing over and over again. You know?

First and foremost, this is a personal blog with my personal opinions. I’m not trying to save the world, I just like to hear myself talk, and I have an uncontrollable urge to write things down. The problem with writing things down is that the older I get and the more meds I take for the myriad of things wrong with me, the more mistakes I make. I’m human. If someone’s only goal in reading my blog is to point out the mistakes, well they can keep on walking. I do my best to proofread, but I’m not perfect. I did my share of writing perfect papers in college. I’m over it now.

Other things y’all should know

I don’t accept blog awards so please, please, please don’t waste your time giving them to me. I will just decline them.

I have Dyscalculia so I don’t remember things like dates, times, or anything to do with numbers. My meds just make this worse. Don’t point out my number mistakes. I’ll only ignore you.

I’m old and disabled. I have a laundry list of ailments and am in constant pain. I don’t have to verify or justify myself to anyone, and I damned sure don’t have the patience or energy to argue with people over the internet.

Other than that, I’m pretty easy to get along with. I welcome other opinions and have no problem with discussions, so long as that’s what the other person brings to the table — a civil discourse. If someone is looking for an argument or a fight, they can keep on looking. I gave up fighting with random people on the internet decades ago.
